This week in the bug club we look at the American Burying Beetle - an endangered North American species that used to be native to 35 states and Canada, but is now only found in 10 states. Due to the nature of its endangerment, it has cost the Oil and Gas industry $6 million to relocate just 6 adult beetles! This beetle is unusual in that it is one of the few arthropod species that cares for its young!

We also look at a recent scientific discovery - the widely known and accepted theory that the percentage of oxygen in the atmosphere was the cause of giant bugs being able to exist in the prehistoric era may be false!

Bug Club subscribers also got access to an exclusive discount code for my Ko-fi shop - discount codes are only available to subscribers
