This week in the Bug Club we look at the Brilliant Emerald Dragonfly, a European species whose population has been declining, and unfortunately has very little publicity to help conserve it. We also talk about one of the ways you can help insect populations at home - building ponds! Whenever I talk about wildlife sustainability tips, they will always be as low effort and renter friendly as possible - leave the big things to the professionals, but every tiny effort helps! In insect news and discoveries, scientists have found that bed bugs avoid water and damp surfaces, paving the way for new advances in pest management! Subscribers also got access to discounted art pieces! |
